Vampire Chronicles

My favorite books in the world it's every vampire book written by Anne Rice. You may know the best seller "Interview with a vampire". Anne Rice created a whole universe where vampires live among humans, they are from different ages, and places. Armand was converted on the renaissance, Pandora comes from the dawn of Rome, Louis from Nueva Orleans on the last years of XIIX century, and so on.

The stories are narrated by some of the vampires, that's why we are immersed in their brains, we feel their pain and doubts, their fears, passion and sense of power. Everyone of them can't escape from the fact of thinking as they are thought by their own age context. Some of them seems to be so strength that they will live for ever, even if they don't want, they can't fool fate.

I've learned a lot about history. I've read about ancient Rome philosophy, Medieval times adventures, Constantinople, Louisiana and the black slaves... all the way to our age.

The main character is Lestat De Lioncourt, he tries to be good, but he believes he is a god. It's one of the strongest vampires and he can't be destroyed (as we know, as he claims). He has million of fans because after writing some books, he joined a band, he was amazed by rock and today's trends.

The Vampire Chronicles are 12 (Anne Rice, will release the number 13 on October this year). She also made Lives of The Mayfair's witches trilogy which is related to Vampire Chronicles.

The Guardian Article: Secret Cinema launches the Secret Hotel

I'm doing a summary for an article that appeared on The guardian's webpage, professor asked me to write
two hundred words, so i'm filling with my own opinion about it, and information i found on the internet (otherwise it would be the same article in other words, because it's kinda short).

"Secret Cinema" It's an organization made by Fabien Rigall. He wanted to bring movies to life by making themed restaurants, music halls, cinemas, and now (well, the article was written two years ago), Secret Cinema made an Hotel hidden, somewhere in Central London (But, today they have many more, all secret).

Secret Cinema has made experiences based on very known films like Prometheus, Brazil, Lawrence of Arabia, Ghost busters and The Shawshank redemption. Check out this awesome video about the time they did Blade Runner: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqNTzcPnHq0.

Secret Hotel its for those looking for adventure and mystery. It will transport you into a carefully curated world inspired by our secret production.
That's what the web page  reads(http://www.secretcinema.org/hotel.html) . You may notice that this isn't a very luxury hotel. Dorm rooms may be shared by up to ten persons. And with other things as well, you won't know until you live the adventure there. It costs £30, which means $28.583 Chilean pesos. That's nothing for such a big production. I wouldn't doubt about staying there. To this first hotel experience, attended around 80 persons per night (The previous productions received among 250 people).

They did The Grand Hotel Budapest experience this year! I wish i was in UK now. Maybe someday they will make one of my films come true. Hahaha am dreaming too high.

My Dream Job As A Filmaker

Cinema isn't something you do alone. Since usually you need cameraman, sound production, and such, you are never working alone, and if you do, you must know that cinema it's done by the audience too. The realization begins in your heads and ends in the viewer's heads. And it doesn't really ends there. Good movies move. It means they create own worlds, making new changes in this world we all live.

I want to move people, make them feel alive, and make them realize they are not alone.

It doesn't sound like a job to me. I know it has schedules and responsibilities, but it's a game and an adventure, and this is what i want to do the rest of my life.

...

Or i would like to be a woodcutter, it sounds awesome too.

My Fauvorite Food? :S

I do love food, i can't stop eating. I try to eat healthy but most of the time i eat crap, because i live alone and i don´t have a refrigerator, or even an oven. But that's okay with me, i try to eat a lot of fruits, milk, bread... I do a mix of oats, cereals and stuff wich i eat later with milk every morning.
Sometimes i buy peanut butter... Huge mistake, it doesn't last a week hahaha. Am basically a monkey because of all the peanut and banana i eat.

I love sweet stuff, chocolates, cookies and such. My girlfriend, she studies nutrition so am aware of all the things that aren't healthy. I said am aware, because we are aware of it, it doesn't mean we don't eat a lot of those things every time we meet hahaha. There's a study that says that happy couples get fat together, hahaha, that's probably true.

If you ask me for my favourite dish, i don't have any. But i love the "pollo al pilpil" my mother-in-law does. It has chicken, shrimps, mushrooms and garlic. We eat it with french fries.

I like the pourée my sister does and the "papas rellenas" my mom does. During the summer, my friends Diego and Bruno cooked for us and they proved to be the best chefs in the world.

Okay, am hungry now, so we'll meet next time reader!

I would Love To Visit Finland

Ok, There is plenty of great places around the world. Some of them are really close, am sure there are some secrets inside the Andes.
Then why would i ever want to travel to Northern Europe? I'll tell you why. There's a country called Finland, am in love with its culture (i don't know much about it but i want to learn more, and visiting Finland seems to be the best way).

I've seen it in movies. I've heard it in music. Such a cold place, one of the coldest places on earth, and yet, the warmest poetry and scorching art you could find.

The people in here speak in Finnish (90%), some in Swedish (5%) but they say almost everyone in Helsinki speaks a little of English. You will always find a chimney or some place to escape from the coldest winter.
I've read about how differently they socialize. We Chileans, in everyday's life, we say a lot of things just to say something or to avoid awkward silences. In Finland this wouldn't be well seen, because they use words wisely, trying to say just what it is extremely necessary.

You can spend stormy, snowy winters and some sunny days in summer. You can see great forests and cool animals like the moose, the wolverine, wolves, the western capercaillier and many more, being the brown bear its national animal. You can zeize a non stopping day, that's why it's called "the land of the midnight sun". And you could be lucky enough to see the Aurora Borealis, probably the most beautiful night sky you would ever see.

I started to know about Finland when i knew that HIM, one of my favourite bands, it's finny. Just like many others (Apocalyptica, The Rasmus, Nightwish and Korpiklaani). One of my biggest dreams it's to go there and see all together in a festival.

I've just seen this band for the first time on Caupolicán's Theatre (01-04-14) :)
